Esteban is a 9 year old boy who discovers by chance his innate talent for music. Despite the difficulties To achieve the dream of becoming a musician, his perseverance will transform your world and those around him.

This is the synopsis of the movie that was opened last night the doors of the Havana Film Festival of  New York City

The soundtrack belongs to the renowned Winner of six GRAMMY® and three Latin GRAMMY® Awards, the Cuban pianist, composer and arranger Chucho Valdes, is the most influential figure in modern Afro-Cuban jazz.

(Trailer in spanish)

The film, co-produced by the Cuban Institute of Music and RTV Commercial and under the auspices of the Hermanos Saíz Association, shows us a Cuba with shortcomings and difficulties where some parents want their children to look for alternatives that provide money in an immediate way, like Esteban’s mother, who finds it difficult to appreciate her son’s talent and visualize her future as a musician. It is a song to the professional realization, also and most important a song to human and social values even in the most difficult circumstances something that distinguishes the majority of Cubans.

A song to the importance of maintaining human and social values even in the most difficult circumstances something that distinguishes the majority of Cubans.
