Global Ports Marabana Cuba/ Maracuba 2018 will be held on 18 November 2018 in the context of very significant dates for the Cuban Sports and Havana such as the National Day of Physical Culture and Sport and the Foundation of the City of San Cristobal de Havana and its proclamation by UNESCO as World Heritage.

In the events that make up Global Ports Marabana Cuba championships open call for runners and walkers conventional, Elites, not Elites, Masters, disabled (blind, deaf and runners in wheelchairs) at distances of 42 Km marathon and 195 meters made; Half Marathon 21 Km 09750 meters.; 10 kilometres.

U.S. ROLLS TO 5-1 WIN OVER CUBA IN HAVANA

Despite a long travel day, the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team put together possibly its most complete game of the summer on Tuesday as it cruised to a dominating 5-1 victory in its series opener against Cuba at Estadio Latinoamericano.

The story of the day was Florida State southpaw Drew Parrish who retired the first 13 batters he faced en route to five shutout innings and the win. Softball star in Cuba for tournament

Whether it’s hitting off a tee, taking grounders or playing a simple game of catch, Maddy Mekari never lets a day go by without some softball in her life.Not even when she’s on vacation.

“I even brought my glove to New York,” Mekari said during a recent phone call from East Northport, Long Island. “We’ve been playing catch here.” She packed her glove again earlier this week for a trip to Havana, Cuba. Cuba Educational Travel: 99.13 percent of said they were “very safe” or “safe” in Cuba.

The US organization Cuba Educational Travel has just given strong elements on the issue of security on the island, by conducting a survey to those who traveled to the archipelago the past 14 months, from January 2017 to February 2018.

American citizens responded anonymously to eight basic questions related to their stay in the Caribbean nation and the results were clear:

  • 99.13 percent of the 462 interviewees said they were “very safe” or “safe.”
  • ” Only three said they felt “insecure” on their trip,
  • one reported not being clear about their response and
  • none described their stay as “very insecure”.
